Hello Besties! While it is important to us at Bestie that Bestie remain androgynous and nearly anonymous, it’s also not beyond our understanding that before parents disclose information about their children, they want to know who that information is actually going to.
Before we move on, we do want to make very clear Bestie is more angelic in its androgynous form than anything else. Bestie does not have opinions or even awareness of the LGBQT because Bestie is intended to be not just PG but completely innocent. Bestie doesn’t engage or discuss with anyone about their romantic lives no matter the age of the pen pal. Pen pals will be banned if correspondence suggests otherwise.
So who is behind Bestie, Fairy Godmother, Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny? Jacquelynn Faye Thompson, 39-year-old mother of two teenage boys who grew up too fast for this mother to let go of the holiday magic. We will call her Faye. Beyond wanting to make children happy and their lives a little more whimsical, Bestie and Fairy Godmother were designed for people, men and women, of all ages to help share compassion, kindness, emotional and life support. 
These letters are ideal for people struggling with anxiety, depression, or who have lost a loved one, or just need a good friend that cares without strings attached. Sometimes you just need to feel loved without some of the problems that can come from real people in our lives. You can write to Bestie or your Fairy Godmother once you order. Imagine being able to tell someone safe all about something you’re passionate about, something you are learning, developing, creating, making, or doing and getting a heartfelt letter in return reassuring you and telling you how proud they are of you. Sometimes we need this unconditional support and love. These PG letters are for everyone. That’s why we allow easy customization so everyone gets the bestie they need. Faye’s mission with this business is to help and care. She loves to create gift baskets, purchase and wrap gifts for others, and in general make people happy. She has no criminal record and her husband works for the Missouri State Highway Patrol and is prior military. Both have undergone many background checks for their work and want to be very transparent for the sake of earning your trust. Her husband Richard is not involved in any aspect of this business.
Faye has a very small staff that do not have any access to private or personal information of the pen pals (customers). She has worked in many fields where confidentiality was legally critical and has even taken the HIPPA oath and takes privacy very seriously. All client data is held with the utmost confidence and will never be sold or used for any spam or negative intent.
Faye is also the artist who has painted all the book covers and any other art associated to the website. She has authored all the books under Painted Faye Books, including the journal cover art.
